About Us
Dr. Francine Baffa, BCBA-D has been specializing in autism spectrum disorders for over 15 years, helping children, families and educators realize their maximum potential.
Integrated Behavioral and Educational Services and Training , led by Dr. Baffa, is dedicated to helping children with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities in developing the communication, academic and social skills necessary to successfully participate in their communities.
Dr. Baffa is a certified special education teacher and board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). She received her PhD in Autism and Intellectual Disabilities from Teachers College, Columbia University. Dr. Baffa consults with several school districts as an educational consultant and behavior specialist to develop effective programming strategies, for both inclusive and specialized environments.
As an independent consultant she also provides in-home and school site ABA program development and delivery for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and conducts parent training. Dr Baffa focuses on skill generalization for success across diverse settings. She has extensive experience in the formation of social skills groups and measureable objectives for outcomes, and instructs groups to facilitate play and social interactions with peers.
As an adjunct professor at Sage Colleges, Dr. Baffa taught graduate courses in Autism and Behavior Analysis and served as a BCBA supervisor for certification candidates.
